Legend of the Galactic Heroes

Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu (gineiden) may be better known for its English name "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes" (logh). This is a classic science fiction novel series by the famous author Tanaka Yoshiki. It was written in the 1980s and has an anime series made after it. The original novel series is ten volumes long, and then there are a few individual single volume side stories.
The translation that I am doing is purely out of interest, for the joy of sharing my favorite book. Unlike mangas, it takes a lot longer to translate a book because they are all text and rarely dialogues. It is unrealistic for me to post one chapter at a time (each volume has about 10 chapters), therefore I will be updating in pages or segments. Please be patient with me and enjoy what little I have written. Having said this, proceed on to the novel translation page...

Anime Music Videos

Music videos that I made, very amateur work. For starters, I don't use Adobe Premiere, the crappy video program I use came from an old acquaintance's digital camera's free software, and this was at least 4 years ago. As of now, I no longer have that program after I got a new computer so I don't expect to be making anymore AMVs any time soon. While the special effects are limited and the quality of the video is slightly pixelated (from being resized by the program), I think they came out pretty well for my efforts. I spent an average of 2 or 3 days making one with additional editing done later, that's very little compared to other people who takes 2 to 3 weeks.

Eye of the Storm

Here is an X music video I made before with clips from the anime season, I used scenes from EPS 00-24 (that would be the whole TV series), to the song Gravity of Love by Enigma, using the MGI VideoWave program from Verloren. This is version 6 and I'm pretty sure it will be the final version. In terms effects, they are nonexistent. This is pretty much all the program would allow me to do.

Memory

Lately, I've been up to no good again... Actually I made another music video which I swear will be my last, they take up way too much time. I don't think I slept at all that night. The song is *naisho* and I'll begin by saying that I don't know what the lyrics says -_-;; This is version 1, scenes taken from Rurouni Kenshin Memory Arc OVA. It still needs work, especially towards the ending but not something I can do right now.

Providence

A music video of the anime series Scrapped Princess, made to the song Vanity from Yuki Kajura's CD Fiction. This is version 3, I finally made some time to improve the parts I wasn't so happy with, it's still not perfect of course but at least I think it's better. As for the song, although the lyrics are in English, I consider this to be jpop, so I now have an English song, a Chinese song and a Japanese song... what's next?

Original Writing

This section is under heavy construction. I removed all pieces of my old writing in hopes that I would reorganize and start anew, but as of right now, I am working on the story of Night Street in my free time and therefore this section is being infinitely delayed.

Night Street is a collaborate comic project with Rwen that is planned to be a series of short stories following the same main characters. It is loosely based on a piece that I began to write a long time ago but never got very far with and now I mainly contribute to the story development of this project while Rwen does most of the artwork.
